Avebury, Wiltshire, 27th July 2005. 2005 was the season that perhaps “broke the camel’s back” for Avebury farmers, after which they’d near-uniformly cut any formation that landed in their fields. Not really surprising considering the hammering they’d had up to that point. Photo credit unknown.
