The 16 April Cherhill circle has been cut by the farmer. This is the first example we can think of in crop circle history of an oilseed rape circle being cut out. Why has the farmer done this? Likely because he asked for people to stay out of the field and despite this the circle had many visitors. Please, people, try to respect farmers’ wishes. Enjoy the circle from afar (fine views of the Cherhill circle in particular could be had from the nearby hill) but stay out unless the farmer has given permission.
